Dryden Mutual’s insurance operation is periodically audited by the New York State Insurance Department, and all such audits become a matter of public record. Policyholder premiums are required by law to fund these audits and the overall operations of the New York State Insurance Department. In addition, Dryden Mutual pays private auditing firms to perform annual statutory audits. These firms are among the top public auditing firms with insurance practices in upstate New York. All annual statutory audit reports are submitted to the board of directors as well as to the three public and private monitoring organizations listed above.
